George Washington warned us in his farewell address (19 September 1796) when he stated:

“I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations. Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally.

This spirit, unfortunately, is inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind. It exists under different shapes in all governments, more or less stifled, controlled, or repressed; but, in those of the popular form, it is seen in its greatest rankness, and is truly their worst enemy.

The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power   of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty.

Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.”

Alexander Hamilton warned us in Federalist 9 titled “The Union as a Safeguard Against Domestic Faction and Insurrection” (21 November 1787) when he stated:

“A FIRM Union will be of the utmost moment to the peace and liberty of the States, as a barrier against domestic faction and insurrection. It is impossible to read the history of the petty republics of Greece and Italy without feeling sensations of horror and disgust at the distractions with which they were continually agitated, and at the rapid succession of revolutions by which they were kept in a state of perpetual vibration between the extremes of tyranny and anarchy. If they exhibit occasional calms, these only serve as short-lived contrast to the furious storms that are to succeed. If now and then intervals of felicity open to view, we behold them with a mixture of regret, arising from the reflection that the pleasing scenes before us are soon to be overwhelmed by the tempestuous waves of sedition and party rage. If momentary rays of glory break forth from the gloom, while they dazzle us with a transient and fleeting brilliancy, they at the same time admonish us to lament that the vices of government should pervert the direction and tarnish the lustre of those bright talents and exalted endowments for which the favored soils that produced them have been so justly celebrated.

From the disorders that disfigure the annals of those republics the advocates of despotism have drawn arguments, not only against the forms of republican government, but against the very principles of civil liberty. They have decried all free government as inconsistent with the order of society, and have indulged themselves in malicious exultation over its friends and partisans. Happily for mankind, stupendous fabrics reared on the basis of liberty, which have flourished for ages, have, in a few glorious instances, refuted their gloomy sophisms. And, I trust, America will be the broad and solid foundation of other edifices, not less magnificent, which will be equally permanent monuments of their errors.”

James Madison warned us in Federalist 10 titled in continuation “The Union as a Safeguard Against Domestic Faction and Insurrection” (21 November 1787) when he stated:

“AMONG the numerous advantages promised by a well-constructed Union, none deserves to be more accurately developed than its tendency to break and control the violence of faction. The friend of popular governments never finds himself so much alarmed for their character and fate, as when he contemplates their propensity to this dangerous vice. He will not fail, therefore, to set a due value on any plan which, without violating the principles to which he is attached, provides a proper cure for it. The instability, injustice, and confusion introduced into the public councils, have, in truth, been the mortal diseases under which popular governments have everywhere perished; as they continue to be the favorite and fruitful topics from which the adversaries to liberty derive their most specious declamations. The valuable improvements made by the American constitutions on the popular models, both ancient and modern, cannot certainly be too much admired; but it would be an unwarrantable partiality, to contend that they have as effectually obviated the danger on this side, as was wished and expected. Complaints are everywhere heard from our most considerate and virtuous citizens, equally the friends of public and private faith, and of public and personal liberty, that our governments are too unstable, that the public good is disregarded in the conflicts of rival parties, and that measures are too often decided, not according to the rules of justice and the rights of the minor party, but by the superior force of an interested and overbearing majority. However anxiously we may wish that these complaints had no foundation, the evidence, of known facts will not permit us to deny that they are in some degree true. It will be found, indeed, on a candid review of our situation, that some of the distresses under which we labor have been erroneously charged on the operation of our governments; but it will be found, at the same time, that other causes will not alone account for many of our heaviest misfortunes; and, particularly, for that prevailing and increasing distrust of public engagements, and alarm for private rights, which are echoed from one end of the continent to the other. These must be chiefly, if not wholly, effects of the unsteadiness and injustice with which a factious spirit has tainted our public administrations.

By a faction, I understand a number of citizens, whether amounting to a majority or a minority of the whole, who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest, adversed to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and aggregate interests of the community.”

To bring all of this into a finer focus, there is a very harsh reality we need to come to grips with; WE, the Patriotic Conservatives, are the majority Faction who remains mostly silent, and we are losing the America we love, on every front, to the minority Faction who is never silent. Once we can acknowledge this fact, the fact that we are losing – we can then assess where we are, fortify our current position, and organize in a meaningful way.

We most definitely have a Faction among us who works feverishly to unravel every red, white, and blue thread of the America you and I love and cherish. This Faction is comprised of American Leftists, also known as the modern “informed” Liberal, who is the morally credentialed, self-righteous enemy within America who would prefer you, the Patriot, the Conservative, be silenced and made completely irrelevant.

Make no mistake, they are winning! These “woke” anti-America, hardened ideologues “own” every major segment of society such as:

* Big Tech
* Corporate – Legacy Media / Social Media
* Big Corporations
* Academia
* Popular Culture / Hollywood
* Professional Sports
* Intelligence Agencies (FBI, DOJ, CIA, Etc.)
* Politics (Even when in the minority, Liberals “win”)

Accept the reality that there can be no “unity” within America between the governing bodies of Democrats and Republicans. No unity between Liberals and Conservatives. No unity between the Factions of anything that looks like they are anti-America or anti-American within the context of them finding America needs “Fundamental Transformation” into some deviant perverted form of a “Democratic Socialist” nation state.

You CANNOT change the heart or mind of someone who views you as an obstacle toward their vision of a remade Socialist America. Concentrate your time, energy, efforts, finances, skills, talents, etc. in support of fellow Patriotic Conservatives. Arguing with Liberals / Leftists is an exercise in futility! Get involved in anything you can where you will have the opportunity to call out deviant perverted behaviors from morally credentialed, self-righteous Leftists, wherever they are.

The number one reason why Liberals always seem “to win” is because it’s easy to be a Liberal and it is easy to “win” as a Liberal. Liberals intuitively know what they need to do in any given situation. They do not play by the same rules as Conservatives. There are no rules much less boundaries recognized by the modern-American Liberal. By and large, as a voting bloc, they vote selfishly. They account for more “single-issue voters” than those who self-identify as Conservative. Liberals who are “informed” and vote for Democrats they perceive can usher in a fundamentally transformed, democratically Socialist America are, in fact, the enemy within America. These Liberals are activated Leftists. They are winning because their brand of crazy is so harsh and yet so effective as they gain yards when they have the ball while Conservatives gain inches, or often go backwards.

Where do we go from here? The Conservative movement was born from the push Left from the Progressives during the 1930’s. For many decades “incremental progressivism” has seeped into every imaginable nook and cranny. This push Left was exponentially intensified and fast-tracked from 8 years of Barack Obama as President.

The great American experiment is (still) alive and well and we have come too far to succumb to the notions put forth by a growing faction that inherently believes America is fundamentally BAD and their re-imagined version of a transformed America in their image of a democratic Socialism is somehow GOOD. This version of a “remade America” held by Leftists is dangerous.

By and large, Conservatives, Libertarians, and “Conservatarians” do not believe we are a part of the problem BUT rather see ourselves as the silent majority that MUST be a part of the solution. NOW, more than ever before, we need a resurgence within the Conservative Movement that started early in the 20th century but seems to have come to an abrupt halt in the 21st century. This isn’t about “activism” but rather about taking action where we can have the greatest possible outcome.

We need a movement that signifies the coming together of Americans who believe that together we are stronger BUT only if our beliefs and core values are aligned with the actions we take to help America be the best that she can be so we may peacefully enjoy our pursuits of Life, Liberty, and Happiness as we simply want to live our “Conservative way of life”! We NEED a plan that does NOT involve picketing, protesting, occupying, boycotting, “canceling”, or any other despicable activity typically associated with the Progressive Left which we have witnessed recently as well as over the past several decades.

A good start is to use your FIRST vote at the ballot box to elect Patriotic Conservatives at every level of public service from dogcatcher to school board to POTUS and then use your powerful SECOND vote at the cash register and support local, small businesses who are also Patriotic Conservatives who live, work, play, and pray throughout your local community!
