The American Spirit Movement – “Why Are We Doing This?”

My name, is Kevin Sabbides. As the Founder of the American Spirit Movement, it is my intention, and responsibility, to say what I believe and communicate clearly. I previously stated in Blog Post #3 that we have Factions within America. After decades of hard work, the efforts of America’s increasingly radicalized Left have paid off. They have achieved deep, irreparable, and yes, even irreversible divisions within our great society. To be very clear – there are NOW two distinctively different and diametrically opposed societies within America. We have Factions.

One societal Faction is an America-first, Patriotic Faction who would simply prefer to be left alone, to live in peace, with as little interference and disruption from our government as possible, while celebrating our Patriotism, worshipping our God, and supporting our families. We cherish and hold dear the very idea that America was born from the bold proclamation that “we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

The other societal Faction is an effective and unrelenting anti-America Faction who has accelerated their radical and fundamental transformation of America into a “New America” with a government that more closely resembles “democratic Socialism” while simultaneously creating deviant perversions of every societal norm, tradition, virtue, and value you cherish and hold dear. This Faction is essentially unravelling every thread of the Red, White, and Blue you also love and cherish about America! The modern American Liberal who is “informed” and votes for Democrat lawmakers are, by every definition, anti-American Leftists. They are incompatible with our Constitutional Republic.

So, what can we do about this? What MUST we do about this? In this critical moment, we must learn from our American past as we listen to the wisdom of the writings and spoken warnings from great American Patriots such as Thomas Paine, George Washington, and James Madison, who were each concerned about Factions and the very real threats against our Constitutional Republic we would face that would have the potential to end America and our American way of life as we know it. Fast forward to “today” and we have a Faction within our society that believes America is fatally flawed from her very formation and requires fundamental transformation into a democratic Socialist “New America”. When asked, they cannot describe what that would look like if they had a magic wand and we stood down long enough for them to usher in their “New America”.

Why are we doing this? Why are we doing the American Spirit Movement? Because I believe Patriotic Conservative Americans from all walks of life have an amazing opportunity to unite within a movement that has the potential to become the MOST important and impactful Conservative movement since the Reagan Revolution and The Tea Party. The American Spirit Movement is a financial revolution where the Conservative dollar is our leverage and our opportunity to support each other while also defunding Liberalism and seceding from Leftism one Conservative dollar at a time.

We believe the most effective “weapon” available to us in the battle against Liberalism is Capitalism and the American Free Enterprise system!  Our free markets were established on Conservative principles producing the greatest economy in the history of the world and for some reason this makes America “bad” among other things felt by “the Left!” You have two powerful votes in America with your first at the ballot box and your second powerful vote is at the cash register – with your wallet. We’re doing this because we have a very dangerous, anti-America Faction within our society that would rather you just go away. We have lived with this for too long. We have turned the other cheek for too long. We – have – had – enough!

The BOLD mission of the American Spirit Movement is to provide the place and opportunity for Conservative-principled American citizens to be able to seek out and support each other in the areas of commerce, employment, business-networking, education, idea-sharing and other ways possible that will help the American Spirit Movement grow as well as strengthen and expand the overall Conservative movement within America. We have built the American Spirit MARKETPLACE where we can do all we are talking about. We own the servers, and I will never sell our members’ data – NEVER!

The American Spirit Movement is the connective tissue that can unite thousands of various Conservative groups and audiences from sea-to-shining-sea. All too often, we have the best of intentions BUT we operate within Conservative silos. The activated Left does not play by rules, they do not respect boundaries; they just intuitively know what to do at every level of activism when it matters most.
